Rice Papad
Rice papad is a crispy and light snack made from rice flour. They are usually sun-dried and later fried or roasted. Often served as a side dish with meals or as a tea-time snack.

1. Boil water with salt and baking soda.
2. Put rice flour and spices in a bowl, then add hot water gradually and mix well.
3. Then, take the dough and shape it into rings or sticks of 20 mm diameter.
4. Steam the dough for 30 minutes.
5. Cool the dough, add the spices and mix well.
6. Roll it into thin flat patties.
7. Dry on a parchment in a warm place.
8. Add frying oil in a frying pan and heat it to 220 degrees Celsius.
9. Add the papads one by one and fry for a few seconds.
The papads are ready.
