Kathmandu, the capital and largest city of Nepal, is situated at an altitude of 1,300 meters above sea level. With a population exceeding 1 million, the city is a vibrant hub where life pulses energetically. Its streets are filled with crowds of people mingling with cars, motorcycles, and cycle rickshaws, accompanied by the constant sound of car horns and the ringing of ritual bells.

Bhaktapur is a city located 16 kilometers from Kathmandu and is one of the three largest cities in Nepal. The city is situated at an altitude of approximately 1,400 meters above sea level, similar to Kathmandu. It was founded in the 12th century and was the capital of the Nepalese kingdom in the Kathmandu Valley until the 15th century. The local residents are primarily engaged in agriculture and craftsmanship.

Pokhara is the third most populous city in Nepal. This city is located approximately 200 kilometers from Kathmandu, at the foot of the Annapurna-Dhaulagiri mountain range. Several trekking routes in the Annapurna region start here. Pokhara is situated at an elevation of 820 meters above sea level (400 meters lower than Kathmandu) in a large valley on the shore of Phewa Lake, making the climate warmer.

Annapurna National Park is one of the most popular trekking destinations in Nepal, combining the majesty of the Himalayas, traditional mountain villages, and unique nature. Travelers can explore scenic routes of varying difficulty, including a path to hot springs accessible only on foot. Even a short 3–4 day route allows you to experience the atmosphere of the Himalayas and discover the culture of local residents.

Chitwan is the most famous national park in Nepal, primarily consisting of jungles and recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is approximately 200 km from Kathmandu and 150 km from Pokhara, accessible by plane or bus.
